I'm in the same situation.
The left button started to not working correctly.
Would be the best, if someone had this mice and find good replacement.
I like one side button on the left and one on the right.
Prefer similar shapes.
If there is any owner of Gigabyte board with C2 stepping, please let me know if there are any marks on the board or the box of newer stepping.
You can check your motherboard stepping through CPU-Z in Mainboard section.

I had an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4M and was dissapointed how was it quiet with ALC898.
I owned ALC889 board and it was really louder.
It looks that all newer Realtek chipsets are quiet.
I think that the front amp is only good that can play at the same loudness on 600ohm headphones also, probably...
Would be glad if someone know how to discover if it is C2 revision, because Gigabyte what I know this does not state anywhere.
Or will be newer 1.1 revisions?

I would like to buy Gigabyte Sniper M5, but sadly Gigabyte doesn't inform if the board have a newer C2 stepping.
Would appreciate if someone post me through PM his serial number of his Sniper M5.
Then I would buy higher serial number.
If someone knows how to find out if it is C2 stepping...
