AptX can be near lossless, but it is not fully lossless. AptX Lossless is lossless. It is only the former, regrettably, which is supported currently by some Android devices.
There is no Apt-c. That was a typo.
So here's what I want to accomplish. I want to be sitting on my couch in front of my speakers (Focal CMS65) holding my iDevice (Pod Classic 7G) which is streaming music to DAC (HRT iStreamer) losslessly. So far the only technology, as far as I can tell, that can do peer-to-peer lossless transfer...
Ive decided to forego the aptx route simply cuz it aint lossless. I am now exploring KLEER technology which is indeed superior and lossless.
The idea is now for an ipod classic with a kleer dongle streaming lossless digital audio to a tabletop dac. From then to the monitors via xlr. Airphonic...
Thanks. Yes, that's the thing. My idea is to buy a dongle for my DAC, and then feel the output to studio monitors. If it ain't pretty, it's gonna be pretty Obvious. Ideally the device-to-dongle stream world be lossless.
Fostex PM-SUBn.
If you care about music fidelity, you will want--as has been noted here--the crossover point to go no higher than 100Hz, 80Hz would be better. This means that the satellites need to be big enough to go down to 100Hz. I often see these 2.1 systems with ridiculously small...
Fundamental law of Electromagnetics: A current induces a voltage (an electric field, really), and a voltage induces a current. All electronic devices are powered or "driven" by both voltage (a potential difference) and a current (electrons moving in response to that potential difference).
The...
Sure, the >>Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 2014-Edition<<.
While we are at it, the stylus could also include a red beam for using as a pointer, as a slide clicker mechanism for when doing presentations or a remote control for stop/pause, forward/backward when using the device as a music player. Sweet...
Depending on the curvature and the viewing distance, a curved screen could be brighter and/or sharper because pixels are all perpendicular to the eye. But, as a whole, it's more gimmick.
Idea for the SG Note 8.0 2015-Edition
Incorporate a mike at the tip, a tiny speaker at the head, a Bluetooth transmitter and a tiny battery into the stylus so it can be used as a hand-set (or rather, a finger-set) for telephone calls. The battery charges automatically off the tablet's battery...
I echo the previous comments about the prevailing spec rat-race. One thing is clear, for most people and non-gamers, the Mega 6.3 packs enough oomph under the hood.
I could have bought the Note II or S4, but I bought the Mega 6.3. I could have bought just the Mega 6.3, but I also bought the...
