I had it installed on a PII 300mhz with 192MB 66mhz SDRAM and it ran sufficiently, But I agree more RAM is a good idea, find out if that old board will take a 256mb stick as extra, that should set you up.
Congrats and thanks OD.
Well done to Agabooga, you certainly gave me a run for my money and you're hard crunching has not only earnt you 2nd place now but also let's not forget that our friendly competition helped the TeAm! :)
Wahey!...am still a bit drunk and I wone the 1000 whoopin' thingy....it's a good night.
KIepp up the goooood work teamates and well done to my worthy opponents in my race..

Hey I haven't been around much in the past 2 months but I remember things being very close between us and BBR!
What happened?
Not that i'm complaing...hahuh! ;)
Am hoping that it is the version issue.
I installed a generic OEM copy of v5.0 and then ran the update, the generic OEM copy was one you could buy for like £10 with whatever drive you purchased, but I just purchased the OEM copy because I knew the people there....so it should work with any...
Nero doesn't seem to derect it, the version is 5.5.8.3 and I have the latest 5.5.10.?? version ready to take over and install but is there anything else it could be.
I normally have a version of Nero with the actual writer but this time I have a generic multidrive version 5.0 with upgrade to...
Sorry I haven't been around!
Quote from OD..."Wow! That was a long time ago!
Needed bodies to fill the ranks so I added you into the race, anyway. You and LukFilm have been waging quite a battle for the lead position even though you had no idea you were racing! LOL!"
Eeeeeeeexcellent! :D
Pah....have been happy with the MX440 at any game I have thrown at it (event hings like rogue spear, medal of honor) but I am far from a hardcore gamer.
Yeah thanks for that....looks like the 9200SE is about on par....the 9200 is slightly better but not by much and in some tests it actually fared worse.
Guess it's a 9600 Pro methinks...
Was wondering what kind of performence differences there was between the above two?
Also how much of a boost the 9200 has over the 9200SE
The latter is not so important but I had trouble finding comparisons between the 9200SE and the MX440.
Cheers.
Stupid question, I guess the answer is that it makes no difference. I know with SSE that when you have to reinstall windows, I take it with HT you can flick it on and off in the bios without any reinstalls.
I see....our onsite engineer seemed to think it did, i'll ask him to double check whats going on then.
But under Windows XP does it show up as 1 or 2 processors under windows?
Cheers,
Jamie
