How many of you have returned from Vista to XP?

I have returned to XP, mainly because of too many BSOD (way many more than in XP), in both Laptop and Desktop PC.

Fast IR wireless mouse?

Well I'm not an expert but I think that if that kind of mouse exists, it will have a lot of motion range issues due the fact that IR emitter/receptor should be pointed exact as posible to each other!! Just my .02

Manually Set Intel Extreme Graphics?

I have the same problem in my Acer Travelmate 4010, but I can assign a max. (no 64 MB option) of 32MB of minimun size via BIOS, but I want to set it to 64MB, so anyone knows how to do it?

R Acer monitors any good?

Hi all guys, I'm thinking of changing my current 17" Samsung LCD monitor for an 20" widescreen one, and looking in the web I found Acer Monitor's specially this: Link Anyone can tell me if it´s woth the $$ ($547.00)? or any other recomendations for the money (must be 19"+ ,widescreen).

15, 30 or 50 megabits

All this complaining, here in Mexico we have to pay $460.00 USD for 2Mbps (even if the connection only reaches 1.5), per month, what Do U think about this? U all guys R lucky to get those prices, and then again all the wyning. JMHO Edit: I forget this price is PLUS TAX!! (15%)

Also have in cosideration that AudioCar Speakers are not magnetic shielded, so be VERY careful in the location of the speakers!!!

I think I find the problem after all but I don't know how to fix it; the problem is that the desktop PC only connects to the router (wired connection) at 10Mbps and the router is suppose capable of handling 10baseT and 100baseT so it's no connecting to 100Mbps and the NIC in the Desktop PC is...

Belkin F5D7230-4 3000 No/slug speed internet

Have U already configured the router? I mean the router specifies not to connect it until the wizard check your internet configuration. Try unpluging the router from all connections and insert first the CD that cames with it, and do all the steps that the wizard asks..!! Hope this helps!

Thanks For U Answer Atheus, but the only PC that's connected to the router have 2 NICs the onboard 1Gb and another realtek 10/100 (cames with the DSL modem), and in both of them the connetcion speed is only 10Mb even if the router is 100Mb capable, any other guesses? Regards!!

I go from an 19"CRT monitor to an 17"LCD, and I´m very happy with this baby, and I do a lot of gaming: NOLF2, GTA3, SOF2, etc, the only thing that I miss from my old CRT is the flexibility with multiple screen resolutions, and don´t just look great with the native resolution that my current LCD...

I give up, sharing problem in WinXP Pro

I been having a living hell with WinXp sharing folders and/or printers in my work´s LAN, the main problem is that when I share a resource (printer or folder), some PC's see the resource and some others don't. Weird Isn't?, I have disabled the simple sharing function in all the PC´s of my LAN...
