No they are not going to own it. I am upgrading in that price range and I if I cant get a X1800XT I will go on up to the X1900XT as I am a huge Oblivion fan. Personally I think the X1900XT will drop to within that range once the X1800XT is phased out. And then, IMO, the 7900GTs will be in trouble

Have you read up on how DX9 will be handled on DX10 cards? What was posted is more than likely true. DX9 games will more than likely run slower on DX10 cards. Why? Its my understanding that DX9 will be emulated.

Oblivion glitches with AA enabled

Strange friend. Are you using standard Ati drivers or one of the tweaked ones that several people put out? I ask as I am using standard Ati drivers with Ati Tray Tool and my X800XL has no issues with FSAA on.
