if the pencil doesn't work try conductive pen, i use pencil and D600->950.

Abit KT7 - support Duron 800??

it support everythink to 1250MHz( max multipler 12.5 and max Vcore 1.85V (reall 1.91V):)

How many fans is enough?

Don't do this Ginky4 take suporb or chorb it doesn't fit but you can easly modifiting it. I have chorb and abit kt7.

What's a good heatsink for SERIOUS o/c??

I agree w/ aRyll. My D600 rans at 950MHz w/ Chromorb-full load 43C, when i tryes higher(1GHz) the temp goes up and it wasen't stable. I fix on the top of Chorb another fan the temp goes down 4C.

Modifying Abit KT7? is 266mhz bus speed possible?

If you want to run it on the 266 FSB you must to have PC266 RAM. Slots for this ram is different (184 pins ,168pins-PC100)

Problems with multiplers on ABIT KT7

My brother buy this mobo and D600 and it don't want to run at half multiplers. When i set it at 6.5 it post at 6 (6*100) when at 7.5 (post 7*100)... What con i do? I have thesame mobo and no problems with multiplers.

Overclocking

Try higher FSB (in BIOS or with jumpers). If it doesn't works cover pin b21. If it is PII 66MHz FSB should ran at 100MHz FSB. Go step by step 75MHz FSB(75*4.5=337,5),next 84MHz FSB(84*4,5=378),95MHz FSB (95*4,5=427,5) and 100MHz FSB (100*4,5=450). You can try higher FSB than 100 but I have never...
