    Maxwell OC extremely well, Fury X might caught up a bit when it come to non OC reference card, but once you OC a custom 980ti, the difference is still huge.

    2600k going from 3.4 to 4.7 would be a world of difference too, overall quad core do tend OC higher as well... so your point again?

    Loads of non sense, when X58 came out the standard for Sata 6.0 gbps and USB 3.0 wasn't even finalized, I don't care about how premium your board is, BS won't get you a feature that simply did not exist at the time. Some later X58 boards have them, not premium or not, just like top of the line...

    So take away really is that for single CPU quad core haswell is perfectly fine, for for dual high end GPU it can start to having some issue although not much to worry about now. No idea how Skylake fairs, can't find anything yet.

    30 fps is fine for me in most games. However, 60fps is absolutely needed for fighting games, 58-59 FPS 10% of the time is NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL. Some other games like CoD has gameplay linked to FPS, then need to be at 60, small drop is not as big of deal but still annoying.
