What do you think of CPU Unparking? Real or gimmick?

Seems the AMD SATA CONTROLLER was using the latest AMD drivers, I've tried switching to Windows drivers but boot time isn't changing, I've noticed when i put the controller on Windows drivers the SSD will appear as Plextor M5Pro under Disk Drives instead of just being called "Disk Drive" though...

I don't have any stuff with exclamation points in device manager though, had those USB's but got them fixed, i think (in my case) it has something to do with the SSD using the Microsoft drivers from 2006 hmm. Yep, i've been trying to do that for some days but i can't see any way to do it...

I didn't have AS SSD at hand but i did have Atto Benchmark, i can download it if needed though, let me know. Here is the info you guys have requested: It's speeds are similar to whats advertised (340write/540read) and SMART is not saying anything is wrong with it, not sure if i should be...

I did now, no difference. I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall the AMD chipset drivers after installing USB drivers, same problem.

I've installed version 13.12 AMD chipset drivers from AMD's website and replaced the ones i had from Asus, no difference in anything :(. Here is the install report.xml from the drivers, doesn't show any errors. EDIT: Report.xml wasn't displaying well when I've uploaded it, I've converted it to...

I've tried leaving the SSD alone without connecting the other drives and the boot seems to be a tiny tiny bit faster but not something significant by any means, i've tried plugging the SSD into the Asmedia controller also, same stuff.

I don't see any stuff in event logs that seems to be related to this :(. I have installed the latest chipset + AMD SATA AHCI drivers from my motherboards page @ Asus (did this before) but i notice something strange now, in device manager i see the SSD appears as "Disk Drive" not actually...

Thanks, very nice app ! Is there a way i can make it scan the network on its own and let me know when someone joins btw ? I've looked thru its settings but didnt see something like that, still a very nice app tho ! In regards to security, i've also set my firewall to block any traffic...

Thanks ! Hard to find Rosewill stuff in RO but as long as any usb wifi adapter should work with the software you've mentioned ill try to pick up a decent one and give it a shot. Will post back :D.

I am on 1gbps connection so a router that will support WAN to LAN 1gbps will be quite expensive, aren't there any similar USB adapters like the one i've linked that will be able to share my PC's internet connection via wifi ?
