This was my favorite game of the Battlefield Series, spent many hours on-line playing with some fantastic opponents. Sure could use some more on-line time in Battlefield 2, anyone else feel the same way ?

What games have you played recently that you really enjoyed?

Try Valley, I found it refreshing and a change from the norm, but not too much. The price is reasonable as well.

Can't buy Quantum Break on Steam?

Thanks for the update Raduque, and in response to cmdrdredd, Steam has the game on their site and supposedly the glitches are worked out. Anybody try this game with a sys similar to mine ? Cmon guys, I'm stocking up on games for the winter, it's getting cold here.

Can't buy Quantum Break on Steam?

Any quotes on the games operation ? My sys is minimal; I7 3770K, 16 GIG OF RAM, GTX 770, anybody using a similar setup, and if so any suggestions for this old gamer ? As always, I will build a new sys when I have to.

Hey Remobz, Nobody says you have to be good at a game to play it, the getting good comes later after you practice a lot. I was in my 50's before I played my first fps game, by the way..you are only going to get SO good..but so what, there will always be some guys/gals that are better or worse...

I've been gaming since the mid 70's. FPS is my favorite genre, but I do most everything else on occasion except MMO style. If you see me on the BF3 servers.....stand still so I can get a shot at you, for criminy s sake. I don't care if you are on my team or not...I can't keep running around...

Problem upgrading bios w/ @Bios P67A-UD3-B3

I just did that the other day useing the @Bios program without a hitch. 1- Download the f5 file to a known directory. 2- execute the program to extract the bios file that ends in .f5 3- Run @Bios and look for the .f5 file then run it. If you can't do that then don't mess with your bios...

Well..I'm 73 and still doin FPS games, been enjoying it since the mid 70's. Hey Spunky..you replied already..ya..well...I think you did..when did you do it ? I hope you guys havn't taught your ladies to play BBC2, I was doing real well a while back until some player started knifing me often...

Things that have worked for others; Delete the Realtech audio drivers from your sys and use just the Windows drivers. Completely delete the easytune 6 program from your sys, just shutting it down for a try won't cut it. ( this one worked for me ). If these steps don't work for you, do a...

Are there other games similar to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

IMOP all the Tombraider games are similar..that's why I like them. Search the web and I think you can find some demos of previous TR's that you can play and make up your own mind. They are fun and a diversion for me, because I play FPS games most of the time.

Moving files around and directories vanished

Do a system restore and see if you get your directory back. Should that be successful, then I would be checking out the health of my hard drive and keeping an eye out for any gremlins. You can deal with the flash drive later.

Brink(Shooter!) looks to be something special...

This one reminds me of a game called GORE that was released in the early 2000's. The game had a great multiplayer going for it, but the singleplayer sucked. The reviewers bashed the game big time because of the singleplayer suckage..so lots of players bought into it and missed out on a real fun...

Anyone have bad company 2 crash constantly on them?

I have been playing this game for sometime and enjoying the hell out of it..but..once in awhile when my cable speed drops below 3 megabits [ usually runs around 8 megabits ], my game will crash to the desktop after only a few minutes of gameplay and continue to do so until my cable speed once...

BC2 - great game! But... what would you change?

Capt Caveman, What .exe are you using for your N52 ? I am using nostromo_3.2.4_081607 and have a problem with my Win 7 64 bit install. Everything is fine until I take a game break for awhile..then the N52 software ceases to function..and a reboot is the only fix I have found. Any thoughts ?

Idea for an Nostromo N52 for your right hand, with crappy photochop

(a lot of people think the far clunkier original N52 was better)..oh my..I wouldn't have put it that way. My N52 and MX518 gameing combo work just fine together..thank you. Note..the MX518 has 2 xtra buttons that usually can be mapped to keys..not as versatile as a full blown right hand N52...

D2D - can I install on 2nd PC?

Log into D2D with your username and password using your laptop, re-download the game and your good to go..you should be able to copy the downloaded game file onto a thumbdrive and transfer the game as well. D2D has been good to me..heh..I buy a lot of games from them..I hope they are good to you...

Bad Company 2 ... glitchy/choppy/stutters

I am running a Q9650 on this game with the older 195.62 Nvidia drivers, and the game runs smoothly. Food for thought..this game may not require this much horsepower..but it sure likes it.

If your repair install was successful, you should be ready to go..however..I would verify this by doing a few complete powerdowns and reboots. Don't be concerned about the Acronis program right now, you can an uninstall & reinstall it later. Checkout a few other programs that you have to verify...

Crackling when mousing

Sounds like your headphone jack isn't pushed all the way into the socket..or you have a wire going bad on you in the headphone circuit. Try wiggling the wires or re-inserting the headphone plug while you listen to your favorite sound source. Hope it can be fixed..some can..others..well..you...

Correct me if I am wrong here; You are dual booting XP with your Win 7 Pro 64bit install..you are using all the same hardware in the same configuration in XP as you are in Win 7 when you attempt your Dvd burning process..if this is all correct..then a repair or re-install of Win 7 appears to be...

Joystick mysteriously disconnects itself

I have the same problem with my N52 Nostromo game controller..one minute it is ok..the next it is disconnected. Maybe a USB thing even if I have not allowed my OS to turn the USB port off to save pwr. M/B is GA-EP45-UD3P. By the way..the post by foahchon was written in 2002..I doubt he will...

Which CoD should I buy?
