I'm not saying that they were correct in this, but I'm not sure it wouldn't happen to me given the same situation. How do you know it wouldn't happen to you?
Have you ever been on a simulator or anything that puts you in a situation like that and gets your adrenaline going? I bet you'd do...
So you're saying that had you been in the officers shoes you would do what? How could they have resolved this while meeting your requirements for being good officers? I bet they couldn't.
Yes, it is a choice. But it's also your choice for condemning them for protecting themselves and others. All you see in the media now is the public criticizing actions police take and screaming excessive force.
How much force would you use against someone if you reasonably thought they...
And that's why nobody in here has the balls to work as law enforcement. You get crapped on by the suspects, the administration, and by the people you're protecting.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the App screen and desktop mode. It's like they built two different OSes into it and they aren't integrated really well. You really need one or the other (although I try to only use desktop mode)
You have to remember too, Super cars are not made to be safe five star safety rating vehicles. Most are street legal race cars and made almost entirely of fiberglass, carbon fiber, and very light weight not so durable materials.
Eh... I don't know about that. The fire department upon arriving would not cut the car apart to try to get the bodies out if they were obviously deceased (which they were). They would leave it intact so that law enforcement can do their investigation with as much evidence intact as possible...
A lot of companies don't want to upgrade because they don't want to retrain the people that aren't very tech savy or computer literate. At my job when they upgraded some laptops to Windows 7 after replacing them due to the lease on the old hardware running out, a lot of people had a fit because...
Speaking of cost per inmate... I found out the county I live in spends more on each prisoner every year keeping them up with healthcare, food, shelter, clothes, ect. that they spend almost $10,000 more a year than my annual salary.
We do need to keep more violent offenders (robbery, rape, murder, serious assaults) in prison longer. Private corporations with profit as a main goal is not the way to go for them though.
That's reasonable and you must still be using your salary somewhat reasonably though. Me and my wife don't even clear 70k a year annually combined and we aren't paycheck to paycheck.
Salary > Bills
Oh there's definitely differences that you usually wouldn't notice unless you played with a phone that's newer than yours.
I was really impressed with the Note 3. While it's huge it's a really nice phone. My brother got one a couple weeks ago.
I don't know about that... On my iPhone 4 with the stripped down version of iOS 7 it ran like crap. People didn't believe me but when I upgraded to the 5s it is awesome because it has the power to run all the stupid animations and stuff they've added in.
I felt like my iPad mini was a waste and sold it. I don't know about the whole Phablet thing though.. They're too big for my tastes. I have an iPhone 5s and it does what I need and is the perfect size.
