Forgot Standoffs, mobo fried?

I was intrigued with the particular case, and it seems all the reviews are stating "integrated standoffs" So either the review samples are different from retail, ops standoffs were leftoff, or standoffs are not a problem. Probs need an RMA for a DOA board

Yup had him send me his aid64 results. Ambient: 70 F (too lazy to convert to C) Pre-Aid64 temps at 1-5% Core Uti: Temps were 33 C AiD64 stability test at 100% Core Uti: Temps were 67-69 C (core 3 as usual the lowest)

Are laptops headed "the same way" (stagnant) as desktop CPU's?

Laptops are headed in the right direction, with the addition of thinner profiles. And with that the thinner profile needs a more efficent CPU package. Without further strides in design and development, the limiting hardware in desigin for a laptop is the cpu.

See I didn't run the windows update or download an intel mei. I went on the support page for the board, and downloaded all the drivers from there and installed. As for the bios, before rma it he board was running 2502, but after the rma it came back with 2702 which is the latest version.

M4 would be a hard special order anyways no ED discount dealer allocations. Plus resale value on the a base M4 is gonna not be as great as their normal orders. M235i in Eblue is sweet. Plus the M235i is going back to 2002ti roots in size so enjoy and spread the legs on the beast on the bahn

How do you know if a used car has mostly freeway miles?

Frequently people will come up with bulletproof backstories, and by bulletproof i mean whose gonna actually go verify whether they work lol. So OP what car are you looking at exactly. Instead of considering the highway miles as a decision maker, why not do a PPI from a mechanic or dealer?

No way can you tell for sure. Best bet is to figure out the carfax data on the car. If the person was putting on alot of miles per year and the MY is fairly new then to some degree those are gonna be highway miles
