i cant find the those i7 in our local stores list, are they already obsolete?
and if i find one will it be wise to buy one. i compared i3 3xxx vs i7 880 they seems to be even.

sorry if my question seems to be a stupid one.
but i know not much regarding computer and im planning to build a good one that may not require future upgrades soon.
my 1st impression is that i5 is for gaming and i7 is for computer apps and video editing.i thought they are used for different...
i want to buy 7850 also but the thing is my PSU(coolermaster460w) is not a good psu.
with the price of 7850 i can buy an Antec550w+6950. that is the only reason i put 6950 to consideration. but it seems you guys are confident that my CM460w can handle the 7850

im thinking of overclocking my i3 540.
is it possible to overclock it without having any cooling system?
if ever possible what the maximum amount of overclock it can take
125w peak gaming? is it different from full load/stress gpu. ive just read different forums saying 7850 120w on idle and about 250-290w stress.
