Is there some logical reason why people don't put fans on the bottom of their case?

If you wanted to lower the net temp in the case, then fans located only where you suggest would be a fine idea. I don't know much about thermodynamics, but experience suggests that air blowing in the plane of the peripherals, i.e. from front to back of the box, instead of orthogonally to them...

Questoin about clear coat.

If u want the hardest finish, you should either add a second coat within an hour of the first, and then let it set for 24hrs or so, or let it set 1st for 24hrs in a room temp-to-warm, dry place, b4 the additional coat. I used this method when refinishing my mountain bike and finish was kickass...

Importance of pwr supply?

I checked the voltage stats in bios. The display did not indicate much of a fluctuation from 4.88V. Variance on what was displayed was +-0.01V. But I didn't consider that the bios measurements might be inaccurate. Perhaps I finally have a use for my multimeter;) If indeed the voltage remains...

Thanks, John. I'm just curious, though, have you heard of, or encountered yourself, any problems with running the switch leads directly from the pins on the back of the cpu base? I'd rather mess with the cpu than the mobo. Can a grounded soldering iron destroy the transistors in the cpu? Yes...

I want to over clock my amd duron but can't find pen,

Apparently pencil does not always work. From the posts I've seen here, conductive ink is the best solution. I just tried pencil myself and it didn't work. Though I haven't tried it a second time, I'm going to buy conductive ink to make sure that the circuit is complete.
