For the AM1H-ITX with DC-In, what small cases are people using? I'm aware of the nmedia HTPC 1800B, but it's 17 inches wide.

Is the 4th Gen Intel Core i3 Underrated

Great discussion! I have read elsewhere that it's the top HW i3, the 4340 (soon to be 4360) that is much better than the i3-4130. (Slightly faster, more cache, better IGP). I am leaning toward a Z97 board and the new top i3 if I can be convinced that Broadwell K will be backwards compatible...

You will find many on here that agree. I'm following this because in my mind, there is potential. If you've already made up your mind, then I don't know what you're doing on this thread. I'm more interested in performance per watt than performance per dollar.

Video card sizes?

Nobody chooses a half-height card except as a last resort. Do some research, like you must have done for the mobo. After you find either a video card or a case you love, buy the other component to fit. Here's an example of a kit that fits your mobo and nearly any graphics card...

Haswell vs haswell refresh?

I'm no expert, but I assembled a computer in 2012 and am asking the same question, which I will rephrase as "8 series motherboard now or 9 series motherboard in a few months?" I gotta say, if I had an i7, any i7, and was interested in having 2 computers sometime soon, I would definitely replace...

Silverstone PS08B - Is this really less than $35?! Yes, it was 34.99 shipped with a $5 Mir until the end of January,and I thought it was the best compromise for a small(ish) case suitable for atx PSU, mATX mobo, and full-height VGA- and my wife thought it was too big for the living room...:|...
