Ayah, I agree with you as there are a lot of options to find a cloud storage and keep the data there and if you wish you can back it up to HDD, an USB, tapes or to the cloud. At least I do like this with Acronis.
I use the tool called Anturis that is a cloud-based and it is not only network monitoring, but the whole IT monitoring tool. I stick to the point that such tool is even much better as you have more control over every guy in the company. At least I think so.
I would still recommend to use Acronis, although I did have the same problems described by Shltek, I have fought many times with that software to force it to automatically delete the oldest copies when the drive is full. Maybe their newest software is better I haven't tried.
I figured it out in...
Use Acronis True Image with its vast and affordable backup options. You can use the cloud storage than Acronis offers, but at the same time you can always backup to an USB, an external disk. You can have full and incremental backup etc.
To tell the truth, I have never tried them at all as the only thing I work with is
Acronis Backup Advanced that seems to be able to backup to the cloud and store there everything you wish. And in any case it is not worth than Mozy or CrashPlan.
Everything is relative as all of them will die one day evern if you take care of them in the best way you can do it. I think cloud is the best one at the moment. In general, I would advice to check the backups - everything you have and if necessary backup again and to several places at the same...
I also use Acronis True Image and I think that it is one of the best backup tools I have ever had before. If you are interested, here is the link for you to watch how to work with Acronis True Image:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5M1muIrbfA&list=PLJbh8iM59BMcjhRXW8pUrEvTXAqJPOQ2p
I also have Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/true-image-comparison). If we speak about various backup tools Acronis seems to be the most reliable one among the many tools offered on the market. Before you choose finally you can always have a trial version to see how it...
I will Acronis will go for sure and I agree that it is not a way out to reinstall Windows all the time. What I like about Acronis is that it creates the whole image of the disk and backs it up to the external HDD, for example. It backs up continuously as you wish. So, having the image of the...
Have you considered Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/trueimage-family/index-3.html). The tool is light and flexible, and does full and incremental backup. The price depends on the number of workstations.
I would not relay on free tools, although some of them are pterry good. It is better to pay, even little money but to have reliable backup. I think Acronis is the right thing for you. It is not expensive to spend about $30 for backup for a year.
