I don't recall AMD saying that their CPUs would kill Intel, that seems to be a case of over hype from others. I'm glad that they're catching up though.
Not sure what the problem is, it worked fine before (although that was a long time ago). I put the disc in and it makes a clicking noise and has all kinds of errors come up. I caught it in the act and uploaded it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FUegtAR5vg&feature=youtu.be
So yeah, Ford...
Darn, they don't support ddr3? well I guess I need to save up for a little bit longer then.
Also no, i'm new to intel, I haven't had Intel until a couple months ago
I'm not replacing the memory, plus I need to clean the case out anyway, it's been getting dusty. But I guess you're right about me waiting until the new intel processors come out, it's only 2 months away anyway. Ahhh this is all killing me lol whatever, i'll just wait it out. Probably invest in...
What does the 6700k have over the regular 6700? I'm curious, all I know is that the k means it can be overclocked
Well looking back it is just a 10 dollar increase in price with a .6 GHz increase in clock speed so I guess it's well worth getting a 6700k then. Now that that's settled, I must go...
I currently have a GTX 970 along with an Intel i5 4570, and i've been hearing good things about both AMD and Nvidia cards this generation.
Which would you recommend for this kind of budget?
Hmm, alright. So say if I was going to upgrade my motherboard to a socket 1151, what would my options be? I'm not sure I would even have the best amount of money but I'm willing to take whatever I can get.
How about the i5 6600k? Is that good for an upgrade? It's around 200 so if it's better...
I want to upgrade from an Intel i5 4570 to something better but I don't want to have to buy a new motherboard to fit it. I'm looking into the 4790k but I don't know if it will be worth the price, unless I wait for Cyber Monday or Black Friday.
This is the motherboard I have currently
Gigabyte...
Honestly, does this game really need Vulkan? It seems to run very well for many people. What is the purpose for adding it if it's just for performance?
I watched a bethesda stream last night, they were covering the single player for Doom. Here's the highlights:
-Huge maps with a map system built in
-secrets
-Everything from the HUD to death kills glows can be disabled
-music ramps up when fights start
-Ultra Nightmare mode (if you die you must...
