It's not a bad game at all , it's just really hard
I got it when it first come out on Early access , just about completed it but it got ridiculously hard so I just gave up.
Piracy exists because some people would rather steal something that pay for it. That is wrong
You can have a stable and fast internet connection more or less anywhere in the developed world. It's not 2004 anymore
Nobody else has suggested a solution for it just thrown insults my way so far
Even places "out in the sticks" can have a good internet connection
I would support a move to have all PC games online only in an effort to stop PC piracy once and for all
Well it would stop the pirates , which should be the number one aim
All PC gamers should have a good internet connection or they would be as well as buying a console
Maybe make every game online only which will stop the pirates for good
That way if you want a game you have to buy it , which would make more profit for publishers and developers
I don't love them though I honestly could not care less about intel or amd
I get exasperated by people claiming that the fx cpus are garbage when I have both and tbh if I put both in front of you , you'd be struggling to tell them apart
FX8350 has is faster at , you know when you are installing a game on steam and steam says "preparing files " and a wee bar starts along the box ? FX is really quick at that
I have got both chips though and there is hardly any difference in them despite what you may think. I use the intel one more and it is slightly better but it's like single digit frames better
I own an i5 2500k and a FX8350 and there is not much between them in gaming when paired with the same card. I would not "upgrade" to the FX chip either mind you
I am at about 30 hours played now, still no idea how to add a rune onto a weapon or where everything is yet
Some game though , just love riding my horse through the wilderness helping people , the main quest can wait ! :)
I am playing at 1440p on sandy i5 2500k and R9 280x. Settings a mixture of ultra and high. V-sync on and it holds 60 indoor areas no problem , drops when your outside in crowds.
Games does look pretty good I must say. It's really , really big too. I am only just grasping how big a game it...
Not being funny but Bioshock is nearly ten years old , DRM has moved on from that time. The SecuROM "having to make a phone call" thing was only on a couple of games before everyone released that it was a stupid idea and it was made redundant
I have DA:I and I've not noticed any DRM ...
That was not aimed at you just a general stop stealing games , I am sure many pirates (or we should call them thieves as that is what they are) have read this thread
As for your Bioshock example , good job secuROM is not used anymore eh ? Although not sure why you would blame the DRM for a...
the problems I remember was if you wanted to install the game 3 times on different computers , it would make you contact the publisher
Hardly the worst thing to have ever happened
No but if they want to play the game they will have to buy it. Before this new DRM those people would have played the game for nothing. Now they can't so they are left with two choices
Either buy the game or don't
I've not accused anyone of pirating a game. Not sure where you get that from
Obviously DRM that cannot be cracked increases sales , you would have to be an actual idiot to dispute that
So you didn't need to re-install windows at all ? It would have created registry entries not "embeds itself in the OS"
The problem with SecuROM (from what I remember) was installing a game on multiple computers , it did not like it. That stuff is in the past where it belongs
I got my copy for £28 from ********
Played a fair bit at the weekend , excellent game. Performance is fine , playing 1440p most things on high on my i5 2500k and R9 280x
I'll complete this in the next fortnight or so
Edit - why is it **** out g2a's website lol
