To make 1.3gals of Ethanol you need to first burn 1gal of petroleum.
On top of this the system is NOT self sustainable, you can't use the previous ethanol to create more ethanol, you need the higher BTUs produced from petroleum.
So basically, your ethanol vehicle...
If you can turn it in either direction at least 1/4 turn, and it was low on oil, you probably broke the connecting rod. (common for small engines when run low on oil)

AMSOIL doesn't make it's own base oil, they buy it from the same few manufactures everyone else does. All they really do is mix in alot of additives, then sell the product using MLM. (not a fan of MLM)

There are more important things to compare between the different options, than expense ratio. That would be fairly low on my "things to worry about". IMHO

Over the last 2years almost all Major Fuel Terminals changed from midnight pricing to 6pm effective pricing.
