i have swapped one before it requires a reflash of the PCM for it to work at all, it wont even start. some shops are capable of doing the reflash to but they have to purchase the programming tools and software to do so.

applying anti seize to a already coated plug is not the best thing to do, it can cause the plug to be over tightened, even when torqued, and put it too far into the head and cause the threads to strip out. Dont use anti seize on a coated plug, people get blown out plugs on the fords all the time...

Put it this way went from that CPU to a 3.0GHZ e8400 and i doubled framerates in everything that i played way back in the day without changing GPU at all it was a 9800gtx. 7770 is more powerful and will be even more bottle-necked.
Be careful with your air compressors they can spit out water. I use an air compressor to blow my computer out. I also have two water separators Inline to each air hose. Make sure you keep your tanks drained very well on these small compressors. The water from these things can damage components.
