Thanks for the info and suggestions. I tried Bitdefender free version for a bit, until I got AVG Ultimate on sale. Bitdefender scans takes a long time.

Is it worth going from a TN panel to a VA panel with about the same specs? I just hate the wash out colors from a TN panel. I want to go IPS 144hz, but the prices are pretty high from those types of panels.

I just purchased a DP cable, because I wanted to get 144hz, but somehow it's only getting me 60 fps. How can I adjust this? I have a RX 580 and Windows 7. And a Acer xf240h. I get 120hz on a HDMI.

True, but don't you hate the wash out colors from a TN panel? That is exactly the same one that I have now, but larger. Maybe I should just save money and get a 120+ Hz IPS panel. I know a good one may cost $500-$700.

At first I thought it was a issue with COD WW2, as I didn’t experience this kind of lag with other games. But I guess as time goes by, we will start to need more ram for some newer games to run smoothly.

I just add another 8GB of ram to my current 8GB and wow what a difference. Game play seem smoother and graphic actually looks enhanced. I been having lag issues with Call of Duty WW2. After the extra 8GB, no lag, OMG. I highly recommend adding more ram, if you have 8GB or less.

I used HWMonitor, not a heat issue. Seems as it only happens or mostly happens when I'm on Steam. I just uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it. Will see if it help. I will try the stress test that you recommend also, thanks.

I don't know either, but somehow setting it to Silent Mode did help. My PSU, I got it back in 2014 I believe. The RX 580 I just got for about a month. No issue like this until I got the RX 580.

Maybe the high clock doesn't go good with my rig. I have a MSI Gaming X RX 580. Before this one, I had a EVGA SC 780, and a Sapphire OC Tri-X R9 290. Both older cards didn't cause this issue.

Okay after tries after tries and messing with the settings. I was able to make it work. All I did was set the MSI gaming app to Silent Mode. It was currently in Gaming Mode. It also has an OC Mode. Maybe it was causing an overpower issue. Not sure with what though.

Thanks for the help. I will try working with the drivers for Windows 7, if that doesn't work out, I will try installing a clean Windows 10. All of this is a lot for me to handle. I wish it was easier.
