    It really depends on the denomination and/or who you talk to. If I'm not mistaken(may have to lookit up again) Catholic church believes God created man, and however God did it is fine with them. They are open to the possibility of the different theories.

    My method is: do what works, without traumatizing the kid. Better than no discipline at all, or worse, half-assed attempts that seem so common nowadays. And it's the last part of the method that's the trickiest. But I work hard at it.
