Intel Extreme Tuning Utility issue

How do I stress all 8 threads in the Intel utility? This happens at 100% default settings in the BIOS as well. I don't understand why. :( Even my Passmark CPU scores are bad.

stock voltage on a R9-280X?

Hi! Old school newbie here. i7-920 vs 4770k

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, I justified the upgrade since I figure my old dell mobo/cpu/ram is worth around $150 on eBay, plus to buy an X58 mobo and new case, it would cost me around $200 USD so why not build out a real upgrade.

i have this issue with my R9 280X. Tried turning off the power saving features including link state power management, doesn't do anything. it has a fresh copy of win 8 on it, so I don't think theres a driver issue of any kind.
