I'm new to SLI and have noticed something like this microstutter in Crysis but I can definitely attest to Bioshock running amazingly good in SLI. With a single 9600gt at 1920x1200 w/ 2xAA I was getting from 20-30fps in many parts but when enabling the second 9600gt the action is as smooth as...
I'm loving my 9600GT SLI setup, picked up 2 a couple weeks ago for $125 and $128 AR. Bioshock at 1920x1200 w/ 2xAA on my new 24inch is a sight to behold
Funny, I was just testing this game today as well with my 9600gt SLI setup and noticing the same things when turning on AA.
Another thing I noticed, also with the 8800gt that I had, is that when turning everything up in DX10 AND turning texture quality to high, on certain levels the game CHUGS...
I got in on one of these but shortly after received the backorder email, so I went ahead and canceled. I think I wanna go quad core anyways and I don't really feel like upgrading to 1066 ram since I was gonna shoot for 4ghz with this cpu.
So would this TV be covered under the manufacturers 1 year warranty then? In case it was DOA or died shortly after is my worry. What if the manufacturing date was over a year ago?
I run my Samsung 216bw as my main PC monitor and it also works with my Comcast HD cable box through DVI. Tried this on my Soyo 24 and it would not work due to the Soyo not supporting an HDCP signal. So like the previous poster said you have to have the right inputs first and your monitor needs...
It's always frustrating trying to get in on deals like this, ugh. Wait for deal to commence, refresh website, website does not respond, try again, again, again.... 2 minutes later woops deal's gone, website continues to get hammered for the next 10 minutes. Wooopieeeeeeee!! ;)
The internet...
These have been in and out of stock since yesterday evening. I personally watched them go in and out 3 times today already. They have an ETA for tomorrow so it looks like newegg is getting small amounts in sporadically and I would expect them to be back in stock a couple times today in small...
Hmmm interesting, thanks guys. Forgot to mention at first but specifically I wanna try Raid 0 x4 with the onboard SATA raid chip on my board. Anyone done this or doing it now?
I'm thinking about purchasing a couple more harddrives and trying this out. I know it's risky and that would be a reason NOT to recommend it but other than that is it worth doin and has anybody here tried it? Specifically with SATA not IDE, the mb I have is the MSI K8N diamond plus with 6...
I just bought one of these tonight, read a couple posts online saying you don't need to FIND someone yourself, you can just join up with someone on the cardpool list on evga's site, can anyone confirm this?
Like the topic says I have about $300-400 to spend and am lookin for the best model in that price range (which I guess puts it at about 3-4 megapixel as well). I was thinking a Canon but not sure obviously, any suggestions?
Definetely the GT, I want my 16 pipes :)
Not to mention I'm pretty confident we're going to see some pretty good performance boosts once newer drivers come out and because it's such a new core.
I maxed out everything at 1024 and got very playable framerates. This is with No AA or AF though but I prefered the other eyecandy in this game over AA/AF.
