the drive letter is A if you boot from the zip disk
.. dont take my word for it though, - i havent had the internal zip drive in a long time. try it out.
all i have heard about britannica are bad things.

Yes, it does work and I am using it right now.
I am using the cordless desktop with my wireless logitech mouse replaced with the logitech wireless optical mouse, but using the same receiver as cordless desktop.

Btw.. sometimes the reason it says dialtone not found is - if you have callnotes (voicemail), and the dialtone changes when you have messages waiting to be retreived. The modem doesnt recognize the beeping dialtone

Plug in the "ATX0" command in the options of your modem.
That will ask it not to look for a dialtone and start dialling immediately.
I think there is a checkbox in modem properties.
I am on a solaris box right now so cant check.
