Corrupted Win2K on ABIT KT7-RAID. Any ideas?

Steelo, Is there anything different when having ACPI enabled in the BIOS, but not in the OS as opposed to having it disabled for both? I'm just curious. I would have thought it would give the same end result.

CD DRIVE INSTALL ??

Well, formatting will ensure that it's completely clean, true. But unless you use sys.com afterwards it won't boot. Just copying command.com, io.sys, and msdos.sys to the C: drive won't make it bootable. Sys.com specifically places the system files on the boot sector. I'm fairly certain that...

No, I don't have to do manual shutoff. Windows shuts the machine down quite nicely now. Hmmm... I don't know what else to say about the APM issue other than I had it enabled in the BIOS during the Win2K install. I had just assumed that the APM tab would be there for you too. :( I can't...

As per my second post, everything seems fine now that ACPI is gone. I had done some experimenting previous to implementing the ACPI fix and found that the same error occured whether or not I had installed anything at all besides clean Win2K. I don't think SP1's to blame. I'm fairly convinced...

Has anyone run a Pentium 200 MMX at 2*100mhz for 200mhz?

I ran a P200MMX at 100x2.5 in a cheap-o Super7 PCChips mobo for over a year. It worked great. Oh, it did have the memory operating asynchronously at 66MHz though (due to old 72pin SIMMs). But there was 1MB of cache on the board, and that hummed quite nicely at 100.

Need more voltage for my celemine on Abit SE6!!!

I've heard of similar operations, but they've actually envolved the older BH6. I actually inadvertently performed it too (on my BH6), when doing a BIOS upgrade. From what I gather, it's sometimes possible to confuse the BIOS into changing the voltage limits when flashing. In my case it was...
