Recommended racing wheels?

lol I have actually gotten used to the microsoft speed wheel for the 360 but used on pc. I can race NR2003 competitively but it took a bit of practice. I only mention this because of the hand throttles. Good luck

Surface 3 Pro - 12" w/ i7

I think MS would have a game changer if they just packaged in the keyboard. I don't think people like seeing it advertised incessantly with the keyboard only to find out it's almost $150 more. It's a muddled presentation.

best buy has a sale right now on MBA's.. $100 off. As a student you should be eligible for the additional $150 coupon as well. If not, you can just buy them for $5 on ebay. So, 11" mba would work out to around $700 after tax if this helps. Personally I wouldn't want a mac but if I had to carry...

Tablets will be dead in 5 years (hopefully). Tablet PC's running ios, android, or even windows with the atom are a step in the wrong direction. They encourage people to aim low, know very little, push some buttons, see some colors, and if it doesn't do what you want it to do, write a complaint...

Ubisoft promises Far Cry 4 on PS4, Xbox One is equal to high-end PC

They may have gimped Watch Dogs so it would play on more PC's. I think a lot of people max their settings out when they shouldn't out of ego or just not knowing what they have. So when the game runs awful, Ubi gets complaints.. who knows?

iphone 5 buffering problems

I had an iphone 5 and hated it. I ran into the exact same problem you have and found that I could stream fine if I was downloading a large file in the background simultaneously. A nuisance to do, but it worked.

Pondering a GTX 750 Ti, questions

The EVGA 750 ti for the win edition is an excellent choice. Mine scores 4000 in the passmark benchmark (OC'd), doesn't get hot since it uses very little power, and is quiet and reliable.

Is 850 Watt enough for 2x R9 290x GPUs?

I ran 2 r9 290's on a corsair 850w gold with an 8 core AMD and it did well even overclocked. However I always felt I was on borrowed time and wasn't comfortable until I bought a 1200. High power requirement pc's are a waste though imo. You should be able to build a beast under 750w, and this...
