I like piano black finish > traditional tar black finish > titanium. IBM did make a piano black finish X series notebook, but that was a limited model though.

YACT, how does the coolant flow fromt he overflow back into the radiator?

I believe the car's head gasket is blown. The exhaust gas enters into cooling system and force the coolant out of the system.

Is Best Buy bs'n me about my car amplifier?

I believe they are telling the truth. From my understanding, Bose system has the amp mounted with the speaker, so there is no actual "amp" to replace. If you decide to swtich the system, you would have to change the deck and get some adaptor to work with the bose system.

My dad had his brakes replaced yeasterday...did he get OWNED?

Dealer probably replaced all 4 rotors, 4 brake pads, and brake fluid which result in $600 in parts. However, there is probably no need to replace any of that. It might get fixed by riding on brake with moderate force to clean off the rotor.

Cooler Master Praetorian

It's pretty easy to remove the mesh grill in front. The grill is held by 4 tiny screws on the side. You will need a small philip head screw driver with magnetic tip to uninstall and install the screws though.

Weird car anti-freeze question YACT

If you mix the normal green stuff with those "long life red stuff" coolant together, they will form tar inside the cooling system and block those tiny water passage inside the engine. Eventually you might experience overheating. I would do a really good coolant flash and clean everything out ASAP.

Best CPU Heatsink?

Normally I dont have problem with TT's product, unfortunately, they have a tendency to copy everybody's products at sell at a slightly lower cost. Quality and performance wise, I can't really say too much since I am not a TT product player, but I did had some poor experience with it.

Look up at expedia.com for the cheapest flight and find out which airline is the cheapest. Then go directly to that particular airline's website and buy directly from the airline. You will end up with same cost minus the expedia's handling charge.

A64 754 HSF Combo...

If you want heatpipe solution, I would go with THIS ONE it's $10 more than TT copycat, but it gave me 4C lower temp and slightly lower noise level. The only thing you have to watch out is the weight, dont' plan to UPS your system with this heatsink attached. It will kill your system for sure.

athlon 64 3000+ temperatures(almost 60C idle!!!)

that HSF only has a 21.1CFM fan. It will not be sufficient to move nearly 60W of heat. Heatsink is impressive, however, there just not enough air flow to cool down the heatsink. If possible, I would mount a more powerful 70x70x25 fan and see if temp improves

Can you buy the G5 Case?

I happen to hate the lian Li G5 looking case a lot. Looks like material is filmsy and has very poor structure integrity. IMO, $200 for a G5 case sounds like a fair deal to me when you start comparing all other ~$150 aluminum cases. G5's finish is just much better compare to all pc auminum...

Are there any keyboards that match the MS Natural Pro keyboard?

I am using a $49 white MAC keyboard and absolute love it. Apple also has the bluetooth version which goes for $69 and WILL WORK with PC.

Thermalright vs. Zalman

thermalright is better. Zalman provides sufficient cooling with minimum noise. thermalright SLK-900 provides great cooling with minimum noise as well.

Antec Fans too Noisey

Sleeve fan is actually quieter than ball bearing fan. I assume the fan just made poorly or you have a factory defect unit. Like others suggested, use panaflo low speed. I uses Cooler Master's led fans which I am pretty happy with its noise level and its air flow output.

AMD Athlon 64 3000 OEM fan replacement?

Home Theatre case....

I would pick THIS instead. Of course, this is what I actually use and it blends in well with my other stereo components and fits in my stereo rack. (The older Cooler Master ATC-600 series is a bit too long for most stereo rack.) Antec Overtrue is 19" deep, I believe it will be too long to fit...
