Just installed the card. I am ecstatic. I had ATI TV wonder before that regularly froze on Win2K. I do not have any more freezes, the picture is way better, and I realize now what kind of garbage ATI software was!
FM works fine too.
Thanks for the great deal.
The only strange thing is...
I was looking for a few ATX I/O shields but, to my surprise, could not find anyone selling them.
I would hate to have a hole in the back of the PC :disgust:
Does anyone know a place selling them?
Thanks.
I have bought the printer today. Good quality for text /graph. I noticed the rebate can be sent with a UPC copy. Dose anyone know of another rebate for C40 anywhere?
from OM FAQs

OfficeMax.com?s low price guarantee can help you save more on your purchases. To get the low price guarantee from us, you must complete a Price Match Request.
For price matches from a competitor's Internet site please...
Competitor's coupons had always worked for me at OM except today, when the assistant manager told me that he is not going to do it bc the price will be "too low after the rebate".
I politely agrued that it is his company policy and asked him why the customer getting a good price is such a...
Was able to do the PM + coupon @ my local OD.
I have the same question as PhantomZX
If you guys flash to Lite-On, doesn't it prevent the Roxio Easy CD Creator included with the drive from working?
Did anyone use the included soft after flush?
Chips:
If Micron chip reads -75Z it is CL 2
If Micron chip reads -75 it is CL 2.5
Either of the above could be revision A or revision B
PCB:
In the BB I went to PCBs with revision A chips are maded by legacyelectronics look for LE on the paper sticker and for LE18DDT1848 on the PCB...
Thanks Lizardman for the sheet.
Danzilla & Lizardman,
my interpretation is that - 75 and -75Z are CL types, A and B are revisions (-75 A and -75Z A are possible)
All Crucial that I have seen is CL=2.5 then.
Also, all sticks with Micron B chips at my BB are made by Micron (look for Mt), all...
Lizardman,
can you please post link to the sorce of info?
If you can find micron chips(has MT on on left side of a chip) then look for ones that say 75A in the bottom right corner. Some say 75A and some say 75B. This stands for 7.5ns part the A is Cas2 and the B chips are built to run at...
Stupid junk would not boot from the NTFS partition, but boots from FAT32. I blame chipset... This is unacceptable. I ordered VIA based motherboard from Newegg (Epox). If Epox works I either ebay or return this thing.
Great deal. Those for whom CloneCD is important can go to
http://www.elby.org/CloneCD/english/cdr_s.htm
to see that this is one of the VERY few drives (3 or 4 models) that provide correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns
What does it mean?
Read here...
In the Newegg listing, it states " Ver 1.3 ". In previous posts, there is reference to " V2.0" . Is this significant? Are the refurbs at Newegg a prior version level (ie. with bugs)? Someone please explain.

I called Outpost yesterday, they said the processors will ship on Feb 27.
To anyone who actually got this case/mobo already. I notice there is a housing for a case fan but NO FAN. Please recommend a fan to get for this pretty little plastic house! I would appreciate it greatly...
Please help!
Does anyone have the original $70 rebate form? The incompetent dolds at staples removed it from the web site and do not have it anymore! They told me there was never a rebate form on January 31! What a bunch of imbeciles, I could not believe my conversations with them. This...
Take a old psu cord and then make a U witha real thin piece of copper wire. Take the U and place it in the end of the PSU cord with one end in one power slot and the other in the other end. Now plug it in
Would not you blow the fuses in your house?
Came across this one while looking for a new case:
21" tall, 7 SLOTS, 1 120mm fan on front, 2 fans on the back, plenty of space and looks good

What do you think?
There are a lot of PC cases now on the market with plastic side covers or just completely made out of plastic. I remember EMI used to be the justification for a steel case. There used to be steel covers for open 5.25" and 3.5" slots. So are the components now are less sensitive? Is steel...
Wait a minute ... I saw a picture of your case ... why don't you just buy 4 5.25 to 3.5' HD adapters? You can even have them with tiny fans for extra cooling.
pc powerand cooling full tower if I am not mistaken has 10 open 5.25 bays that convert to open/closed 3.5 ones.
ASL full tower
Dimension: 8.5" Width x 23.0" Height x 19.5" Depth
Drive Bays: Four (4) x 5.25" accessible drive bays
Two (2) x 3.5" accessible drive bays...
What's your budget, Schola? THE Perfect case will cost you - I have some ideas, but would you spend a few hundred?
PC Power and Cooling Full tower (or deluxe chrome tower) and ASL full tower http://www.aslab.com/ are the best I know.
PC Power and Cooling has the best power supplies...
Thanks for reply, DaddyG ...
