Question ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 vs. ASUS Prime B550-Plus

I assembled everything and it powers up to BIOS. (I still have to install Linux.) The memory switched to XMP settings once I enabled D.O.C.P. Apparently XMP is referred to as D.O.C.P. on ASUS's AMD boards for legal reasons.

Anyone know of any AM4 reviews that cover SATA/RAID performance?

The AMD X370 board comes in last in SATA performance, but since all boards are within about 2% of each other, it isn't a big deal. Unfortunately, the review doesn't specify whether they measured the speed of the CPU SATA ports or the speed of the SATA ports provided by the X370 chip set.

Why did AMD release bulldozer if they can still make good CPU's?

Can Ryzen dominate server CPUs?

The paper Early performance evaluation of AVX for HPC shows AVX producing a performance benefit of more than 10% on 3 of the 15 benchmarks. Things many have changed since 2011, but if not it would seem that Zen could perform well on many HPC workloads.
