I have IBT and ran it at standard and passed. Ill try it on maximum. However when I look at the log for IBT it says my cpu speed was only 3 29ghz, any idea why? Bc openhwmonitor says 4400 and so does cpuz. My temps were 60c max during a 5 run of IBT on standard. Ill try maximum and see what...

http://imgur.com/UWM3KRf Does that look normal? Take note of the vcore and the 4400mhz on each core. Also temp 4 and 6 fluctuate like crazy and i have no idea what they actually are. My googlefu says that its just a bug from incompatibility with something?? In bios im at 1.18 cpu core...

I dont plan on overclocking. The only PC game i play as of now is League of Legends, bc my current rig, sans gpu, will not support any other game besides WoW. Hell i cant even run Dota2 on low. Im hoping now that im building a new budget pc for gaming, thst this 7950 will allow me to play...

Yes. The red model is the one I purchased. Its still a GOOD gpu right? They just dont seem to be very popular. Everything i google comes back as twin frozr. Any idea if theres a downside to that vs the twin frozer?

What is everyone favorite pc case?

I really wish i could have splurged for the zxt h440. The psu being isolated from the rest of the interior of the case and having the spots there for ssd's just makes it rediculously aesthetically pleasing!

300 euros is around $475 right? You shouldnt have much problems finding a decent intel cpu and mobo with that kind of budget. I bought my entire build with a budget of less than that

g3258 + z87-g41 + corsair h60

I was under the impression that the corsair h60 would just be a good cpu cooler regardless of which cpu I got? I only bought it bc it was on sale from newegg for $30. I thought it would be a good enough cooler for any cpu vs spending $20+ on a heatsync/fan combo. Did i screw up getting the h60?

Ive been running a core 2 duo for the last 3 years. What you may consider obsolete, will be an upgrade to me. I bought the g3258, so if next year I find even an i5-4430, its an upgrade for me, not everyone else. Im also on a budget, so an i5 right now was not possible for me.

Yeah i tried to buy my parts with it in mind that i ca later upgrade the cpu and nothing else. Thats why. I went with the z87 mobo and not a.cheaper version. Also the mobo came with a free 1x8gb ddr3 ram

Aw that sucks. I hope I have a halfway decent chip or it defeats the purpose of me buying it. I think i read too many reviews saying its a good chip when overclocked. I probably should have played it safe and spent a few more bucks and bought a completely different model
