For those that are interested. I got my board back from NewEgg. plugged the CPU in and everything is running. Apparently it was the MOBO. Have a new issue. CMOS error" wrong CMOS memory"
So I will work on that now.

I have unconnected the power supply and reconneted twice. Didn't think the power supply would be bad. Already sent the board back for RMA. I have a POWMAX 400w.

Thanks Novice and Jeff7, I have taken the CPU out twice and reseated it. It seems to be in all the way. I will try it again. The light on the CD-ROM lights up, the fans all spin, but I don't hear the HardDrive spin. I tried resetting the BIOS jumper. I do have Arctic Silver though not very good...

I too like POPUP Killer. Sometimes it blocks Windows popups or a popup I want to see but it is easily adjusted. If for some reason it gets in the way I turn it off and turn it back on with just s click.
ok Mikendi I turned on my computer and left it on for 6 hours. Came home and it was not acting up! Realized that this board has no CPU temp monitoring. As it has been on for 6 hours and no problem this time I do not think it is heat related, but tommoirrow I will try another heatsink and fan.
At the moment all I can do is check it in th BIOS. I will look for a program to check this. Also I have a spare heatsink and fan I could try later. I will run it til it starts staggering and then reboot and check it there. Thanks Mikendi
Hi all, after about an hour my graphics and sound start skipping. The mouse does not work roght either. I have reinstalled the mouse. Formatted Drive c. Even with minimal programs running it happens.
