I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this, here goes.
I am looking to get:
Windows 2012 Server Essentials
To administer 9 Windows 7 PCs
2 Synology NAS's
2 Printers
And install Ubuntu 14.04 on a VM
Ubuntu in turn will be a master pc for 4 ubuntu pc's that are running a video...
Also this query
$this->query( $query );
Seems to be the main one causing issues, but I dont really know what it means, its on 3 lines in the .php file and its the one causing the issues.
i think it might have something to do with a plugin called WP-PostViews that was no longer installed, i see a table in myphpadmin called wp_post_views that i think was left behind, this table is 36mb in size, all other tables are maybe 200kb in size.
If i empty this table do you think it might...
i'm trying to fix a slow down on my wordpress website and i'm getting this error, but i really dont know what it means, there is no "if" statement in line one, hopefully someone might have an idea to help me.
MysqlError: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds...
Honestly my i5 2320 paired with the ASUS R9 270X plays this game on ultra settings at 1080p flawlessly. Sure it may not be 60fps, but considering the human eye cant even see above 60fps, who honestly cares.
I was quite amazed it ran it so well.
Yeah it was a learning curve for others it probably seems easy to be honest.
But it just seems really robust with a lot of scalable features should you wish it.
I just installed Zyxel USG 20's in two restaurant chains i work for and we'll be using those going forward, its a low level version of the USG50 and then there are higher tier versions as well that handle more throughput.
Very happy with them so far.
I now the USG20 can hangle 3g fallover and...
You should have zero problems as long as non are snapped and/or fractured, if they are fractured you'll have no idea and your pc will just bsod.
But thats highly unlikely.
Yeap did that first thing
So i did the memtest this weekend and the corsair where bad.
Stuck my older ones in and ran memtest and they where all good and so far, touch wood no more boot loops or bsods.
So for now looks like its entirely up and working.
So for a little extra work...
no nothing specific.
i did run memtest last night and the corsair had loads of errors, so i'm rma them as they have a lifetime warranty.
The others i had i ran through memtest and they came back with zero errors.
So lets see if that solves the issue.
I also replaced my mobo battery...
this is exactly what i did friday, had to do them all in little increments, essentially microsoft is serving the updates in the wrong order, as some of the updates required others before they would install.
The seller has over 20000 score with almost 100% positive, i told him about the board and he is willing to work with me.
But now i'm still considering the memory being the issue. The crucial test didn't really say too much to be honest. I'll run it again now and look closer at the results...
Well i went on the Corsair website and it seems my memory is not supported by my motherboard.
According to corsairs website, no 8gb memory module is supported, and i have two installed.
This could very well be the issue.
I cant find a compatibility section on MSI's website to verify it though.
Ok yeah thats the only drive right now, i have another new identical one i'll put in after.
So I replaced the WIN7 ULT with WIN7 Pro and the install went perfectly, no memory errors and the updates are working fine, SP1 installed fine, still having an issue with one small update, but i believe...
Yeah but something I need to do to get back in IT full time, wont be forever.
And wouldn't you know it. My PC is no longer responding to remote desktop... i'm now wondering if the motherboard has an issue.
As I have two internet connections going into my computer, both wifi and RJ45, it would...
So I got a used MSI Z77-G45, the board seems fine, BIOS is fine so it seems.
But as this is a new install i'm doing all my windows updates and i've had no end of problems trying to get them installed.
Eventually got WIN7 SP1 installed, but now other smaller updates are locking up as well...
Right now it is for me, i've got a full time job, doing IT consulting work almost every night and weekend.
And never had a PC give me so many issues, just trying to run windows update.
I eventually got Win7 SP1 installed but now further updates are not installing correctly.
At this...
Honestly i've bought $40 PSU's that lasted 10 years, bought $120 PSU's that lasted maybe a year.
SO we'll see, only issue right now is that i'm keeping the PC on during the day so i can remote in. So if the PSU catches on fire there is nothing i can do about it.
Time to renew that rental...
dont suppose this will help. scroll down to second half of page for bios help.
http://www.isunshare.com/windows-password/dell-administrator-bios-password-reset.html
would seem too obvious to still be using jumper pins.
Its a thermaltake rr2 600w. has mixed reviews so we'll see.
The seagate drive is brand new.
I got SP1 to install at last, i'll run whocrashed at the end and see what caused it not to work.
And yeap everything is running at stock entirely until after all updates are applied.
Ok back guys.
So I got a new 600W PSU and the Asus R9 270X last night and no more relooping issues.
BUT.... two other weird issues.
When I initially reinstalled windows, (as it was a new build I just wiped the drive and redid the install) the PC BSOD as right after the "windows is setting up...
If you get a samsung SSD if comes with a data migration tool for free that works extremely well. you just need a $20 dollar dock like this one to plug in the SSD drive. Once its done you swap the drives and you just boot the laptop normally.

Sorry Antec i meant, The board visually looks perfect.
I did seat the memory in different slots and they seem to work fine, i did have a set of two cheap shit sticks i felt iffy with so i just threw them away, just in case.
I'll let you know once i have the new card in.
BTW the entire...
If you've dont all of that, i'm assuming you've deleted the sound drivers and uninstalled the sound device in "device manager" restarted pc and reinstalled.
If after doing all that try booting in ubuntu live CD and seeing if sound works in that, if so then its def a windows issue, if not then...
Hi Virgorising, thanks so much for replying.
Theres no point using whocrashed, because it just looks in what drivers cause a crashed. The reboot happens before the bios even loads. So no software is affecting it.
I dont have another PSU, but in saying that. I think i'm going to go and buy a...
is this a realtek audio setup, if so this has happened to me, go into the realtek audio settings and make sure that the "green" plug is set to out.
Additionally right click on your sound icon in the task bar click on "playback devices" and make sure your speaker output is selected and not...
yeah gpu this morning was 40C so well within range and mobo sensor says 27C
Also whocrashed cant help as no drivers have even been run before it reboots, thanks though thats a useful program.
