bio-star boards are good boards, fpr "normal" :) users
but if you want to overclock, or if you want the best performance in games
bio-star is not for you

the pentium3s are to expensive
and speed is not that important anyways
one question remaining....do i have to use registered dimms on those supermicro...
Everytime I try to install it, i get a bluescreen where it says
Hardware malfunction, contact your vendor ......
i tried it with and without my NIC, and with 2 different HDDs.
I obviously cannot remove the cdrom or the videocard
....
So what should I do?
Does anybody else have this problem...
maybe sony gets nervous seeing that some (most) DC games look as good as the PS2 ones
and Software sales ain't too rosy....neither are hardware sales (in japan that is)

i tried to overclock it with vCore @ 2 volts
to no avail
it simply wont run 900Mhz or above
i think the limit of my (crappy) CPU is 880Mhz....
I do have a prog. to set the L2 divider
it's called SysID, it's like WCPUID + the cache divider settings ( 1/2, 1/3 & 2/5).
still...my CPU seems...

I am using a GlobalWin VOS32 cooler.
FSB is at 100 MHz DDR...
If i change the MP to 9,0 my PC boots but upon entering Windows i get BSODs and other nasty errors
