The extreme series are pretty good, specially the 6 has really good amount of features. Asus is good, but I fell like you might be limiting yourself also with the high end K CPU.
You probably want to overclock as well, which the matex might be limiting.

The board is actually one of the best with the B350 chipset and the price is actually pretty good.
I have one and I think the board packs every feature i could want onto a 8 x 8 inch square (m-itx form factor). It has 6 sata port, and m.2 port/or mSata (can't use both at once)
Is this similar to the OCZ Z-Drive 6000? If yes, how much are both of these going to be?

So...the M6Pro 256GB is $156.99 vs. OCZ ARC 100 240GB is $94.99 on Amazon, how can Plextor ever drop to the same price level, its just way too expensive!

Help anyone!?! Asus X99 boards selling for 274.99 to 383.99, Asrock 215.99 to 283.99 and MSI $194.99 and up on Newegg, which one to choose?

Not so sure about Plextor, they don't seem to be too popular these days. Although OCZ hasn't had the best reputation in the past, but ARC 100 seems to be bringing them back.
If you're willing to shell out a little more, I'd suggest the Asrock Exteme9.
Lots of comments you can check out:

You can try a Gigabyte, Asus or Asrock if you want to avoid MSI, starts at just above $110 or so:

ASRock 990FX Extreme6 -...
Can't really beat the price at $220...I went over the reviews on Newegg, seems to be not bad overall, with a few complaints on the manual and the design of the heatsink...
Here are a few roundups hope these help.

I read about this one and the reviews and comments on Newegg are really good! I would consider this too, but doesn't seem like they carry these anymore...
