Yes, I would agree on that.
Maybe because Vega might not have the performance expected, they might have a sub 500$ thrown in the mix.
If you can wait few more wks, you have nothing to lose.
Hopefully not, Fatal1ty models are pretty good and the K4 are the ones that have a sweet spot pricing.
But might be they have conflicting product pricing with the Killer and Extreme? too many at around the same price levels?
I would wait to see what ASrock is coming up wit, they are generally the best when it comes to overclock if that matters to you.
And even if you don't their boards are pretty stable, considering they are build to sustain heavy overclocking :D
Right now, from the news release by China media, it shows Gigabyte also have another revision issue on Z97 and H61 mbs!

Im building a system for a friend but he wants to buy from his local shop. They have 2 options for a SSD around the 500Gb mark, the OCZ ARC-100 and Kingston V300 480. The OCZ is around 10$ cheaper. What do do you guys recon?
We been using Revo products few years now and definitely pleased with both their performances and reliability.. We had few issues in the past with SSDs from OCZ but now I guess with toshiba in management things got way better.
I recently got a X99 Extreme 4, I have been building my own computer every couple of years since 1998. And every time, it gets easier and the bios gets more and more feature. I was pleasantly surprised you can actually update BIOS within BIOS setup using LAN connection.
The thing just fired...
Ive been looking for one but there arent much choices to choose from for a micro ATX sized X99 motherboard, I looked at ASRocks X99M Killer simply blows EVGAs X99 Micro out of the water with better hardware specifications and features. It has twice the digital VRM phases for better power...
That's very impressive from a hardware perspective, but it seems like a jack of all trades at staggering price. If money were no object, I'd be all over it! :D
For the next couple of years, Im betting we will see much better CPU optimization in games for effects and AI. Developers will take advantage on this new gen console to "easily" port it to PC.
