I want to give my current mobo and other stuff to my dad. I don't have any cooler for that (I'll leave the current one at my rig, it was quite expensive). It won't be overclocked and I'll lend a decent thermal paste I'll buy for my new config (yes, Zen 3).
I found that the cheapest coolers...
Skylake doesn't look interesting for gamers (even Skylake-K). It has a lot of cool features, but games won't use them at least for next few years (if ever).
Clock matters.
1. IPC doesn't scale linear with clock (mainly because of memory bandwidth and latencies).
2. As that chip was designed with very low clock in mind, it probably can't reach 3 or even 2GHz.
Netburst was a very good example of design sacrificing IPC for higher clocks.
Apparently they have different definition of SoC. You can find Trinity SoC and Kaveri SoC on Linkedin profiles. Weird.
Also Interlagos launched in 2011.
Don't know how you did you get details about unreleased 45nm Bulldozer, but rest is wrong (even if you count units in iGPU).
K10: 3 ALUs per core
Bulldozer-family: 4 ALUs per module
It's not some kind of secret knowledge, there are a lot of documentation about AMD's cores.
Well, shame...
