Thanks man. I've already been through that article, and yes I'm not very comfortable, especially with custom/unofficial BIOS. I'm gonna try the mobo anyway, and if doesn't OC the Pentium I can simply return it and get the Gigabyte Z97M-D3H. I'll report what I get. :)
After reading all posts in this thread, I registered so I could find info about the G3258 overclocking capability of the motherboard mentioned in the title.
I have a G3258 and I just need a mobo to complete my build. I plan to use the Pentium as a stopgap and upgrade to an i5 or i7 later next...
