anyone know how to use the sort function in WordPerfect? (9 i think)

What CD-Rom/DVD-Rom is fast and quiet?

i dont know the model no. off hand, but i have a toshiba that is 40x/12x and it is very, very quiet. if there is something else gong on in the room, you almost have to watch to know when it spins back up.

samsung ml-4500, 4600 vs. hp 1100

Toshiba 12x/40x has premature spindown

while watching movies. Then the movie freezes, and then pins up then freezes. About every 10-15 sec. How do I fix this? Thanks.

refresh rate on viewsonic pf790

I can see the screen flickering like if you were running it at a really low refresh rate, only its not really low, its 85hz. (I use the function on the monitor's built in menu to see what the refresh rate is, FYI).

I am running this monitor at 1280x1024, and the refresh rate is 85hz. Now, sometimes I can see it refreshing , and sometimes I can't. Why is this? Either way the refresh rate is the same, at 85hz. Thanks.

Hollywood Plus anf Toshiba DVD??

I have a Hollywood Plus Decoder and a Toshiba DVD (model no. SD-M1402) And when I start up the player, I get an error message: "MMSYSTEM 275" It also tells me that I need to enter the region code, and when I try to, it won't let me. I don't know if these are related, but either way...

ATI Radeon 32MD DDR - vs. - Asus V7100 Geforce2MX 32MB SDR ... which one is better?

Be careful, I have heard that the OEM versions on the radeon are not the same as the retail. I do not remember exactly what it was, but I believe that it was mentioned in the anandtech budget card round-up or whatever it's called. Could be wrong tho.......

I just went and looked at the 955DF at amazon, but it was listed as "955DF FS". Is there such a thing? I looked at the samsung website, and they only list a DF, no DF FS. Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks.

Most flat monitors use trinitron to make the crt flat. These are the ones that have the lines in the screen about 25% from the top and 25% from the bottom. Samsung 955DF however, uses a different technology that they call shadow mask (I believe) and it does not have the lines. I have only...

Which GeForce 2 MX Card should I get?
