Ok got it.
The screenshots you posted clearly shows Paragon has better PBR and diffuse return(but still black areas at some places). Actually the screen shots I posted are from google and a bench site as I don't own either of game and videos of Paragon on youtube are kinda 1hour long and don't...
On Indirect lighting
you can see we can see detail and if could not find detail then at least we can see something present in the area in this scene where there is no direct sunlight
but in paragon
just darker areas with not much revealing details where there is no sunlight.
You mean how far the camera is from the player doesn't make any effect on how much sharp a surface will look.
I mean the closer to the surface we get the more dull the PBR/PBSed surface will become.
I observed this while playing evolve(an FPS).
And indirect light in paragon is not up to the...
I don't want to hype it . Just said that because Link id of engineer said whole new architecture and this doesn't come from marketing dept.I don't even say it would bring better IPC per CU but if they could bring down transistor count down while having same perf and new features per CU it...
This game has better PBR and lightmass use as compared to paragon. Of-course Paragon would look better as in that game we don't look from so close as in this one.
The information about this being whole new architecture not comes from Amd's marketing dept but from link id of an AMD engineer and previous rumors about p10 being 232mmsq were right from such source.
I was just curios that it could be a whole new architecture and a successor to present one because it says whole new architecture and previous info about 232mm from such profile was right and this is not the place where they could be lying.
@RussianSensation Nv released all of its big chips this year and nothing big for next year in pascal range which means no big launch in next year???It never happened since fermi. They might launch next 104 chip in q3/q4 next year.
AMD must launch Vega at most last month of q1or earlier and...
10% hit is quite impressive and much better than any of gamework technology.
Imagine this with the SVOTI
@Carfax83 , as OP and @Sweepr please don't mind as I am bringing other things into this thread because it is just for graphics and performance comparison.
That's what I'm saying but Cryengine SVOTI has not started to mature to make it useful or intense battle game like the one in OP though upcoming 5.x updates make improvements.
Great video and one of my friend following this game. Rich textures and lightmass GI makes this and paragon look marvelous but what I am talking is about the closeness to real life material quality which only Cryengine provides atm
watch from 15 23
just for material quality and PBR/PBS and...
Cryengine is the most advance engine out there(in terms of material quality ue4 looks plastic).it's just IBL which was hindering it but with new SVOTI ( and not VXGI) it is unbeatable in visuals.
and it is also proving itself in Kingdom and star citizen and upcoming prey.
