Windows seldom finds the best drivers for your card in spite of what they say. You need to go to AMD and get the correct drivrs for your card.

I just got this motherboard and after running that app on it I got this saying it has a x570 chipset.
Is the app likely wrong or did I get some kind of oddball MB?
I just put the same combo together today and tried to update the bios to F13c. Well the thing started up after restarting a few times with the R7 5800x but when I checked the bios it was F10. So maybe it just shipped with F10 and I failed at my attempt to update it
I have no idea. I tried the link but could not get to the deal through it but went straight to the dell site and tried to change the optitions like the SD link said, but saw no 5700 xt offered.
there were some 1660 and a 5600. not sure how good of a deal but depends on your needs...

AMD online store has no customer service apparently. It's been sitting in processing mode since last thursday, but my CC has been charged which is not suppose to happen till it ships.
I have the same board and ram. Not sure how to fiddle with the setting on the ram but just enabled the XMS thing in the bios. and just checked to find I have the same speed as you, 2666mhz so you are not alone.

I appreciate your posting it plus the warning of caution because of the reviews. It did seem too good to be true but EIFenix mentioning it might be decade old stock made it sound more reasonable. I knew it was a gamble but I won on this one with your guys info. :D
Well I am surprised I received it in one day and am happy to say it does have the cables the other reviews claimed to be missing.
All in all a great deal considering I was expecting to pay this much just for a PSU.

The newest review shows it does have all the needed cables now so I am going to take the gamble.
I did a quick search to see how much the modular cables would cost but had no luck for that PSU. So if no power for sata drives, and no guarantee on what cables there are it's not worth the gamble for me.

Still a good deal for me I just cannot use the video card, case and power supply. I do not think I could have got the old tower running again for $120 and this will be faster.
Is this all proprietary stuff inside? I ordered one anyways and am planing on using the ram and SSD from an old atx tower I have. If I can swap the motherboard into the old tower, I could use the fullsize video card I have too.
