I totally agree. The good news is the schlage has a very good zwave api so if wink refuses to support all those feature I'll switch to a zwave brain that does.
Schlage has multiple built in sensors for alarms including both locking picking detection and forced entry.
The argument against a keypad doesn't hold water because it's there only in case you don't have your phone so it won't be used that often.
I have the schlage and in the last 2 months...
PS TIP of the DAY. The schlage lock state can't be toggled in the actions for a robot. You try to and get a weird blank button and the state it shows isn't accurate.

yep, it was in there in an earlier version of the app. I still have my robot that is triggered via light state.
as soon as i posted how i did it on the quirky forums the app suddenly updated and this was removed.
makes no sense; much like the wink hub itself.
my advice is to not buy quirky products that ONLY work with wink. i will still get 100% functionality out of my chamberlain garage door opener, 2 honeywell thermostats, schlage deadbolt and kidde smoke alarm and lightbulbs.
as for the GE link bulbs remote control, if another hub comes along...
how does one get on the beta team? honestly i write software for a living and would love to chat with them about the product. i still believe its a killer piece of hardware..particularly for the price..but i'm constantly shaking my head at how frustrating it is to make things happen on it.

well, yes and no. its true wink only provides lock/unlock status (and triggers for the same) for the schlage deadbolt.
however, you can create profiles in wink for other users and give them access to the deadbolt.

I've had trouble with the shortcuts working on my wear device. However the notifications work well but maybe that's because my wink app is constantly running on my phone because people at home or opening and closing the garage door and the front door so I get notifications all day
Wear is awesome with wink. I love getting the notifications that geofencing locked my door or notices during the day that the door has unlocked and by who via wrist vibration. Profiles are great.
Notifications are the killer feature for wear right now.
it didnt randomly unlock it..the events were getting backed up on the server (probably because the user kept hitting 'unlock' on his phone) and when the server finally came back online..it was a lock/unlock fest.
