Hi and thank you so much for the reply.
I have read around online and just like you advised, I tried V-Sync and adaptive buffer.
With V-Sync on the tearing was minimized but I still saw it only a little but the game felt a little slow and stuttery.
It seems the gameplay seems much smoother with...
Hello,
I recently bought this monitor to try out gaming at 1440p with a single GTX 970/i5-4670k/8GB ram.
I get quiet a lot of screen tear no matter what I'm playing, especially on Arma 3 what I'm currently playing.
Graphics auto detect always sets it to Ultra and my framerates vary between...
too bad your not in the UK. Over here there's nothing that comes close to the BK XLS200, such a monsterous sub that goes below 20Hz! Amazing for the price!
I use it's bigger brother XXLS400 which is maybe around $750 but it easily beats subs that cost $2-3000!!

I'm not sure if 1 980 will cut it, I'll need to do some more testing later.

Get yourself an AIO Corsair H60 or something should give you more headroom.
With a H100i I could get 4.7 with my 4790k but would struggle prime95 torture. You'll probably reach 4.6 stable with an AIO unit.
Hello, first post here :)
I need a little bit of help OC'ing my new X99 system.
On my previous Z97/4790k I was able to hit 4.7GHz but the temps were quiet high so stepped it down to 4.6 for 24/7 use which was fine. The ram used there was HyperX Fury (1866MHz) OC'd to 2133 which was perfectly...
