Trivia: Calculating bus bandwidth

24-bits is "true color" for this problem. 24 bits per pixel for 650x480 is 7,372,800 bits per frame = 921,600 bytes per frame. at 30 frames/second thats 27,648,000 bytes per second. but, how does the cd-rom to memory and memory to screen have to do with anything? Thanks for the help!

Calculate the bus bandwidth needed to display a VGA (640x480) true-color movie at 30 frames/sec. Assume that the data must pass over the bus twice - once from the CD-ROM to memory, and once from the memory to the screen.

Annoying green $ ads in Internet Explorer 6?

Ever since I installed IE 6, I get those annoying green dollar sign pop up ads. Is this an internet explorer thing? if so how can i turn it off i hate pop up ads and i cant find any settings for it. If its not IE, anyone know a trick to deal with these things? Thanks

Tech support: Computer wont boot up, is mobo fried?

My roommate tried to install some ram. He's done it before, but hes no certified technician. I think he might have touched something and fried it. The computer doesnt boot up or send any signal to monitor.

i have this mouse. it is a great mouse. i like it over the explorer one becaues it is a little better shaped, and i like the feel of the butons over the explorer-i can click the optical faster. it works really well for games. i would recommend this mouse.

Hot deal on MS natural pro keyboard???

i got this oem pro keyboard from newegg for 46 about 2 weeks ago. the feel of the pro is just way better than an elite, which i have also had. and 50 bucks isnt too much for a keyboard, there is a huge difference between typing on a nice keyboard and typing on a shighty kb. extreme keyboarder.

I use Grado sr-60 headphones. 60 bucks. They have awesome sound. I didnt notice a difference using the x-gamer over the live! value sound card.
