That's exactly were I have both of mine. If they were still in production and I had a bizarre need to detect every possible water leak, I would put one under each sink (Kitchen, bathroom, etc) and under each toilet.

For anyone who has one. The motion sensor works but seems slow. I wanted to use it to turn on a bathroom light upon entry and off 15 minutes after no motion detected. The lag on the turn off is no big deal but it should turn on quicker. Hell, trippers do a better job. Is my experience...

The edit is as follows. To prevent voice search output you need to edit winkvoicereceived task and add new step at the beginning. + app - go home, page 0 This will stop tasker from triggering google now's audible search results when you aren't searching but asking tasker to run a wink command

I cant remember where I read it recently but someone posted a small edit to Craig Trunzo's Tasker wink app that stops Google Now from beginning to play (audibly) search results before tasker initiates the command. Does anyone recall where this small modification can be found????

Actually, the article says bankers were looking for outside funding (which takes some of the load off Quirky) or a buyer. It says things were moving along well until the glitch, which halted sales talks. Now it says it is closing in on new funding, not a sale. Either way, Quirky is, at best...

As a business, there is no economic benefit to giving local control ahead of a competitor. Strategically, I expect local control to magically appear as soon as ST announces the launch of their V 2 hub.

SmartThings hub works with our GE lights and trippers. Don't know yet about overflows - Time will tell. I'm sitting in the wings waiting for SmarThings V.2 hub.

Came home last night to many bulbs lost pairing (as evidenced by the grey wifi/question mark icon). Arghhhhh. Hub re-boots didn't fix it so I had to re-pair. Usually, the process is to remove the unpaired bulb, set it back to factory (by doing the power on/off 6 times in 3 second intervals)...

Don't have the robot cover more than 1 calendar day. Example = if you want it to do something between 6 PM and 5 AM, do 1 robot for 6 PM - 11:59 PM. Another for the next day, starting at 12:01 AM through 5:00 AM

Back online, mostly. Couldn't get the damn Motorola surfboard (which I own! ) to accept a DNS change, no matter what I tried. Put through modem into bridge mode, disabled wifi, connected via cat5 to a new linksys router via wifi. The router allows for a dns change but still wouldn't allow...

15 amp should be fine. The romex to the switch (assuming its been built to recent code) is most likely rated to 15 amps

Any electrician PLEASE comment here but I believe he can wirenut the neutral (white) wires from each switch together. Both black LINE wires to one terminal, both black LOAD wires to the other terminal on the tapt. It should work so long as he doesn't attempt to install a dimmable switch. The...
