I have an old Compaq Presario V2000 (EV889PA#ACJ)
I want to upgrade its hdd, its PATA and just 60GB
I searched for 2.5" ide drives and they are really costly as compaired to the sata drives.
And it has a dvd drive(odd) which has its r/w head stuck at the center (m unable to fix it)...

I Need Laptop recommendation as a friend of mine is gonna buy a laptop under about $800 i.e. 50,000 /- Indian.
According to him the config should be Core i5, 8GB RAM, 2GB dGPU, 1 TB HDD, DOS/Linux/Windows.

AMD is just very lenient with the CPU/APU stuff. like always..
It just concentrates on the GPU stuff which might be innovative but still cant fairly compete with the only other competition ie - nVidia !
I understand that AMD has expertise in both CPU & GPU field and that it competes with both...
