Windows 7 = over 30GB?!

I just reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate, iso updated with simplix updater (mentioned in this thread) and my install footprint is @ 18.4GB. That's with pagefile and all, plus a bunch of other installed programs. The updater has been updated for March, and will no longer create an iso that will fit...

This always worked for me as well. But I use LiLo not Grub.

So how are you liking Win10 so far?

Has anyone been able to build a AIO for build 10041? I built one but it only lists Pro x86 & Pro x64. I had migrated Enterprise x86 & x64 into the .wim but the installer doesn't list them. It could be that I had a typo somewhere, but I doubt it.

So how are you liking Win10 so far?

As of build 10041 it is actually becoming bearable, aside from the icons. The installed size has gotten a lot smaller, and the OS itself has sped up greatly, even on older hardware. Now hopefully they will figure out something with transparency and some better icons, or someone to create a nice...

Windows Updates madness (rant)

I found a great update pack that will update your system or a install image by and called simplix updater. Supposedly it is updated once a month on the 15th, but it has yet to be updated this month. It doesn't include every single update, but aside from hardware drivers there is less than 10...
