Just curious if this can be done. I'm currently running a dual monitor setup using an ATI Radeon 4800 (both monitors connected via DVI). My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3R. I'd like to add my LCD TV as a 3rd monitor so I could output Windows Media Center to the TV while still using the...
Good film, very impressive camera.
This reminds me of a short film that was posted on ATOT around a year ago. I searched but couldn't find it, but it was on Vimeo and showed a man's life from birth till death in around 60 seconds. Just quick flashes of life. Anyone have a link to this?
haven't read the whole thread, but if you continue to have pain when swallowing it may be epiglotitis (sp?)...i had this a few years ago and it was incredibly painful to swallow, felt like shards of glass going down my throat
a trip to the ER doc failed to diagnose it, i ended up going to see...
Built one last year, love it. Running Win7 x64 as a DVR, plays Blu-Rays, and plays all my downloaded shows.
Specs:

Gigabyte motherboard w/ Nvidia 9400

Thanks - I'm running Win7 X64. I didn't install the Intel storage drivers and I think I'm using the default MSAHCI driver (that's what shows in the benchmarking I've done).
So does this look like a good setup?
Gigbayte SATA Headers (P55):
Channel 0: Intel X25M
Channel 1:
Channel 2: WD 1TB Green
Channel 3:
Channel 4: eSATA front-panel connection
Channel 5: DVD-R/RW
Any reason to use the JMicron header instead?
Hooking up an Intel X-25M (2nd Gen) 80GB SSD to my Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3R. I know I'm supposed to use the lowest channel available, but not sure which set of SATA headers I should be using. The options are:
1) The headers controlled by the P55 Chipet (six available)
2) The headers controlled...
This is one of the dumbest threads I've ever read at ATOT, and that's saying something. Why am I not surprised that it's some guy in the Army posting this.

OK, it's decision time...I'm planning to buy one of the following before the end of '09.

The OEM drive is showing as out of stock, that's the one that was selling for $254. If it comes back in stock while BCB is at 15% and the $25 off for eBillMe is active, I'm going to jump on it. Otherwise I'll wait for the next great SSD deal.

So putting aside the difference in size, is the Intel G1 80GB a better performer than the Kingston 40GB (with the Intel controller) or the OCZ Vertex 30GB?
Co-worker just upgraded to an Intel G2 160GB SSD and offered to sell me his x-25m G1 80GB for $150. I think I can probably talk him down to $125. I've been holding out for the G2's to drop under $200 (missed the sale at Newegg with BCB that dropped the drives to $194). This would be used in...
Thanks Jack & Sooner, good suggestions.
I should have mentioned that I was planning to setup an old WRT54G running Tomato (both for wireless access and for NAT protection) and I'll turn on WPA. I'm also going to install Firefox with Adblock and suggest she use that for her default broswer.

I'm sitting ~2 feet away and a I can't hear a peep. It's running an i5-750 on a Gigabyte P55-UD3R board. I had to buy a $5 adapter to get the Zipang to work with the new chipset, but it was worth...
