Finally NV has found a Way to bring Gameworks to DX12. Now is the Time that the will Support DX12 and will Encourage Game Developers to move beyond DX11.
Will be interesting how all the DX11 fans will turn with a fingersnip by NV to DX12 enthusiasts.
See the frequent Killing sprees in Canada or Europe where more restrictive Gun Laws are in Place. So you can believe that not Changing legislation for Gun distribution will Change your Situation. Thank God i am Not in tue US.
Well it seems that they are currently focussing on customers. Less artificial segregation, no artifical cutting on HEDT chips( e.g PCI lanes), good thermal interface to enable good oc, suitable upgrade path on platform (tick/tock)....
Oh wait!
It might become bigger in the Softwares tested with upcoming GFX Cards, however i do not know how relevant these Games will be in 18/19 for the average Gamer (e.g. Battlefield1 might be less relevant then). How it will look like in the Softwares to come in 18/19 no one knows and the data doesn...
Yeah it seems that 7700k is the best in current State of the Art 720p low quality gaming. For whoever plays at this resolution.
How the picture will look like on 2018 software? Dont know but i dont think software from 2013-2016 will be predictive.
Seems like its the last argument that is in favor for Skylake X. That it is compatible with old air coolers (which by the way may not even be good enough to prevent throttling at stock). That far we have come lol
Seems like their plans in reducing caches did not pan out as intended and now the have to move clocks up in order to be better than the broadwell E. What you get is a hot powerhog.
Reminds me of bulldozer vs phenom...
It will be interesting to see when AMD transfers this to GPU with Navi. Imaginge how performance and pricewise the fusing of 2 300mm dies will compete with an 600mm die.
Interesting times ahead of us.
How can asynchronus compute increase any performance on Nvidia cards because Nvidia has such good drivers that they do not leave any performance on the table?
That is what i hear from you guys now over two years. Tasted the flavour in the end???
My Ryzen build
R7 1800x
Asus Crosshair
2x8GB Crucial Ballistix Sports 2400
Silent Loop 240
Asus Rx 480x
BeQuiet power supply
Bitfenix Ghost case

Still tweaking, but currently running
Ryzen 1800x @ 3.9 GHz 1.28v
Asus C6H
Crucial Ballistix 2400MHz
4 GHz did not run at 1.35v.
So i try to stay at 3.9 and undervolt till there is no tomorrow.
When RAM issues are settled i will move to a kit that will give me 3200+ [emoji41]
If you have an C6H board you do not need any AM4 cooler kit. Theyhave additional holes in the board to enablr mounting of AM3 coolers. My TR Macho cooler runs perfectly on the C6H with the AM3 attachment.
I dont know. Skylake X are relabeled Xeon chips arent they? And there are 12c+ Dies out there. So adding a 12c to the skylake x should be easily possible. But it will somewhat have impact on Xeon prices?
Also disabling pci lanes is possible.
So the scenario seems quite possible and makes some...
This would leave the 7700k in a akward position and would wreck the complete normal desktop line party of Intel.
Considering a 6c Skylake x at ~350?
I7 7700k would have to be discounted to sub 300.
Ordered yesterday an 1800x and an Asus Crosshair. Looking forward to build the new rig in early march.
Will be an decent performance lift from my FX6300.
Yeah this is the new Zeitgeist. Everything that does not fit to own agenda is qualified as fake. Next step is presenting alternative facts. I look forward to it...
Seems like the intention is to sell a 4 core 110W TDP CPU on a expensive high end platform against an 95W TDP 8 core which is available then on a cheaper board. Makes totally sense. I like the idea that intel is marrying high end and consumer platform at last....
So it means that i habe to wait 3 (!) Month till i get normal or compareable performance for an Nvidia card in new titles like RE7? Seems to be a huge advantage for NV cards...
16 CU Polaris with 8 GB GDDR5 is already at 250$. So I cant see adding 4 GB HBM2 and a full CPU sums up to 300$.
The advantage of a CPU+ extra Graficscard is that you can upgrade lateron.
You loose this advantage when using APU but gain better efficiency and possible smaller Formfactor.
