My argument for this is simple. I see a lot of people downsizing their computers, even watercoolers. My case is massive and full of copper, too heavy. I just had a Monsoon 90° fitting fail..... I'm downsizing and sort of upgrading now.
I'm going to suggest the Gigabyte GTX 1070 ITX Edition...
I use the MSI X99S SLI Plus with a 5930K. Not Skylake. I have the dual bank UEFI feature. With UEFI 1.2 to 1.7 my boot times were 5-10 seconds.
MSI updated the UEFI to 1.8 adding Improved system stability when MSI Fast Boot is enabled, a lot of the problems were keyboard and mouse malfunctions...
I'm going for the dumbest solution ever, try a non-logitech keyboard. Seriously, preferably a keyboard that won't pull extra power to drive lighting and the lcd screen.
Each MSI motherboard I've owned since the P67 series has had issues with the USB 3 headers, the S99S Sli Plus included. Changing the 3.0 front ports won't help. 3.1 is very early it probably won't work properly by the time devices appear.
Forumers are going to tell you to get the cheaper board...
As of news yesterday. Soon Cinavia is no longer a problem if you're willing to re-encode the few movies that use it. I signed up just to share that. Hi!
