Is there anything else can be done? Have changed LLC to 100% but didnt help. Im pretty sure simple thing is missing but what i try nothing seems working.

Not sure what u try to say, but i doubt its a TDP cuz i can run it 4.5 with manual voltage of 1.260v. Now i want to use offset to keep system cooler on idle but cant figure it out how. It seems that i have to change something else beside just offset voltage I have even tried to put offset to...

Hello, I have overclocked G3258 and asus h81m to 4.5GHZ using manually voltages, works fine. As an example i have 1.260vcore clocked, stock is 1.080v, in BIOS instead of 1.260v i set offset to + 0.180. But when i save and restart it goes back to stock, hwmonitor shows 3.2GHZ 1.080v and +0v...

Cant find on google what im looking for. I read that cache and core ratio for best results have to be 1:1 When i have cache ratio 44 voltage is 1.301V, but when i set it higher to 45 it jumps right to 1.408 which is a huge difference. Can anybody tell me how can i tune voltage properly? Can i...

If i have set core voltage to auto it would run much higher at least 0.100V more than i set manually. So my question is the same about cache/ring voltage, atm ring voltage is 1.3V. How good idea to set it lower and will i get lower cpu temperatures by setting it down? or it doesn't effect on cpu...

Well, i was running benchtests with each time i change cathe ratio and it does effect it a little, using cinebench r15 on 4.4 GHZ cache ratio multiplier: 3.6 309cb 3.8 313cb 4.0 316cb 4.2 319cb 4.3 324cb I mean its not a big deal, so does cache voltage called LCC/ring in HWmonitor?

Well have done some tuning in bios and got 4.5GHZ 1.250V stressed for 1 hour max temp 74C core 1 and 67C core 2. Is it normal thing 7C difference?

Well, well atm im clocked to 4.4GHZ, BIOS and Windows doesnt read my currently CPU frequency, windows still shows stock and main BIOS page shows 3216mhz, i still cant figure out why BIOS shows faulty frequency. But 3rd programs like cpuz and speccy shows it correctly.Defect motherboard? what u say?

help pls... Mainboard tempreture 115C?

Idle is 27C, this picture was done on stress test that why is 53. But as i said it doesn't matter if it idle or load motherboard temperatures are the same I really have no idea, couldnt find anyone who had the same problem with this board.

mhm, just other people who OC have it showen everywhere, but alright what about BIOS then??? when i have on stock bios show speed:3200MHZ when i OC to 3,8 BIOS show 3212MHZ this not alright.... 3 different values in different places.. Damn low budget boards are totaly trash wish i had go for z97

ehh have updated bios to latest version, same problem.... Also this medieval asus prome ii doesnt support windows 8.1. But also the other programs show 28C and never change even when i stress cpu (it should at least change for some degrees... so i also wonder if they read the tempreture, so...

well i having isues with overclocking too it seems i cant go further than 3.8 for some reason. Well i gues i have to update the BIOS. Dunno if it risky or not but hopefully ill be lucky. Also question is not what speed it running, but what it makes show faulty results.

The results of overclocking 3.8 ghz can be only shown in speccy and cpuz programs, but windows shows stock speeds of 3.2 in system spec. BIOS shows 3212 MHZ, i have no idea what can be wrong. mobo is asus h81m-plus version 2104. What is the problem here?

well, i dont think its a good idea to update just becaus its quite new version, also i have downloaded other programs to check so it was obviously what u say, that monitor showed faulty. On idle i get 28C checked with 3 different programs, so i can sleep well ^^

Hello, i just have build up my system. HWMonitor shows that my motherboards temp is 115C. Im getting crazy about it but cant understand how it can be so high when my system is on idle. Do u know what can be wrong? Is it bad sensor on my new motherboard asus h81m-plus? PS. I havent updated BIOS...

Will Asus z97p be same good as z97a for overclocking? I cant see any difference just that z97a has sli, crossfire, higher sata speed which is not really necessary for me? Also p 50$ cheaper
